As the world of technology grows and grows each coming day, there are heightened risks that are associated with these changes. One of these risks that has been around for centuries, we just haven't felt the pressure of it really until the last decade or so is the scary world of hackers.
All of our personal information can be found online whether we realize it or not; our phone numbers, previous and current addresses, family lineage as well as extremely sensitive information like passwords and even social security numbers that have been entered on websites. Hackers are so intelligent and able to shut down computers or high risk websites that run on government VPN's. It is a scary concept to come to terms with, but one that must be considered as technology becomes more and more popular as the years progress.
The graph below indicates the rise of cybercrime costs and where it is projected to reach by the year 2025. Its astonishing to see, and truly makes you wonder if it will come full circle considering we are only two years away from 2025.
